Church LIke the World?

I thought this letter to the editor from a reader in Georgia, in the April 2007 issue of Charisma, magazine says it all,

The church has become so much like the world that we will do anything to get members. The Bible says we should not be conformed to this world. We are always looking for alternatives to holiness, and when we can't find any, we take what is unholy and make it holy. God is not pleased.
